Dr. Sagar Nayak, MD, DM (Cardiology) is a distinguished Interventional Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist known for his clinical expertise, academic excellence, and patient-centered approach to heart care. With advanced training in both coronary interventions and complex rhythm management, he provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
Dr. Nayak completed his MBBS (First Class) from VSSIMSAR (2014), followed by MD in General Medicine (First Class) from MKCG Medical College (2019). He pursued his super-specialization with a DM in Cardiology (First Class) from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (2022), one of the country’s premier medical institutions.
Dr. Nayak began his academic career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences on 18/07/2022, where he was actively involved in patient care, teaching, and advanced cardiac procedures.
He currently serves as Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at PGIMER and Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar (since 02/01/2023), where he manages complex coronary and structural heart diseases, cardiac rhythm disorders, and emergency cardiac conditions.
Additionally, he is a Visiting Consultant at Sunshine Hospital, Bhubaneswar (since 03/03/2023).
